Depending on Problem Gambling Awareness Month, casino operator through MGM Resorts International and BetMGM has today reaffirmed their commitment to responsible gambling.
The company has outlined its initiative to ensure casino players can make responsible and informed decisions through comprehensive tools that are available ‘in-person’ and on digital channels.
On casino floors at MGM Resorts’ properties, players can access information relating to responsible gambling through the scanning of QR codes on gaming terminals such as slots.
Additionally, educational materials are available alongside information, both of which are provided by GameSense, the industry-leading platform from the British Columbia Lottery Corporation, which first licensed the program to MGM Resorts in 2017.
Furthermore, with a focus on positive, transparent, and pro-active topics, players can read, learn and educate themselves about gambling responsibly and the dangers of problem gambling such as addition.
Throughout the country, MGM Resorts provides over 180 GameSense Advisors at its casino properties, who have been certified through an employee training program, and are on hand to provide in-person guidance and support.
What’s more, prominent signage about GameSense is being featured in and around MGM Resorts’ properties and on marquees to assist the firm in raising awareness on this important topic.
According to reports, this is the fifth year that the casino operator has worked with GameSense and the firm is committed to providing new resources to guests that promote healthy play both in the offline and online environments.
